Morgan Levy and Jesse Jones are legendary names to those who have lived in Doral for longer than 8 years, they are responsible for shaping the origins of what has become Doral today, and without doubt, they can be considered its Founding Fathers. Along with many other longtime residents like Rolando Oses, they overcame the obstacles to set the foundations for a path that lead in 2003 to the incorporation of the City of Doral.

The Community Center
Doral’s parks are the city’s heartbeat, providing residents with an opportunity to enjoy the outdoors in a safe and healthy environment. The Parks and Recreation department has six beautiful, state-of-the-art facilities that cater to all residents, from children to seniors.
During special events, these facilities are rented for birthday parties, weddings, quinceaneras, and more. This modern community center facility has about 5,000 square feet of venue space that is perfect for these events.
It is also the location for fitness classes and a variety of other recreational activities. The center includes men’s and women’s locker rooms, a sauna, a weight/cardio room, and a customer service desk.
The coordination of these recurrent events starts almost as soon as the previous year has finished and takes into account all the feedback and opinions that residents send them through email, phone, social media or the city’s website to make improvements for next year. The Restaurant

The Trails
The trails at Morgan Levy Park offer everything you need for a day of fun in the sun. It has ponds, a 2-mile walking trail, picnic tables, and pavilions to take in the beautiful views of Doral FL.
You can also enjoy an outdoor fitness center with weight machines onsite. This is a great place to bring the family, and dogs are welcome in this park!
This 8-acre facility is Doral’s first dog-friendly park. It has a small and large dog off-leash area that is fenced for security.
