It’s a perfect destination for an overnight camping trip or a weekend getaway. The campgrounds offer cabin rentals as well as three primitive group sites for organized groups.

The cabins can be rented for up to 11 months ahead of time and come with a covered porch, picnic table, and air conditioning, and some have ocean views. Linens are not provided, but restrooms and hot showers are nearby.

The park also has three primitive group sites that accommodate up to 30 tent campers and a fire ring, restroom, and cold water showers. The sites are reserved up to 11 months in advance and only for youth groups.

Biking Trails

There is also a saltwater lagoon for swimming. Visitors can fish for snook, tarpon, mullet, snapper, grunt, and sheepshead.

Fishing
