Miami Lakes is a family-friendly community that was incorporated in December 2000. It is located in northwest Miami-Dade County.

Residents enjoy the town’s 100+ parks, mini parks, tot lots and greenways. Some of the parks include Miami Lakes Optimist Park, Royal Oaks Park and Veterans Park.
