Boating
Boating is a popular activity at Dr Von D Mizell Eula Johnson FL State Park. The park is located along the Atlantic coastline and offers many amenities including a beach, two boat ramps, trails, seven covered picnic pavilions, and an education center.

The park was named after civil rights activists Von Mizell and Eula Johnson who fought for the opening of the first African-American beach in Broward County. After a successful wade-in demonstration in 1961, the county agreed to build a road and the former “colored beach” became the state park it is today.
